Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Process and productivity improvement
- Work with internal departments to accomplish product launch activities
- Plan, organize, staff and direct the Production department to produce the required quality and quantity of products which meet all specifications according to production schedules and established labor standards
- Must operate within departmental budgets to accomplish company objectives
- Must be able to resolve situations quickly, both customer/production related as well as staff related
- Ensure ISO and GMPs are followed in a clean room environment
- Responsible for training and competency of all staff
- Responsible to achieve all company goals and objectives in a timely fashion
- Responsible for maintaining and improving employee morale
Organizational Relationships:
- The Plant Manager will directly report to the Vice President of Operations. There will be daily interaction with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Finance, and Warehousing departments.
Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 5 plus years’ experience in a fast-paced similar environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong leadership skills
- An orientation towards process improvements
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and ERP systems, IQMS a plus
- Understanding of ISO and GMP regulations/requirements a plus
Training:
- All training courses as identified on the Training Matrix must be completed 90 days after hire.
- Any other training identified by the Supervisor
Compensation:
- Salary Range – $120,000 – $150,000
