Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
    • Process and productivity improvement
    • Work with internal departments to accomplish product launch activities
    • Plan, organize, staff and direct the Production department to produce the required quality and quantity of products which meet all specifications according to production schedules and established labor standards
    • Must operate within departmental budgets to accomplish company objectives
    • Must be able to resolve situations quickly, both customer/production related as well as staff related
    • Ensure ISO and GMPs are followed in a clean room environment
    • Responsible for training and competency of all staff
    • Responsible to achieve all company goals and objectives in a timely fashion
    • Responsible for maintaining and improving employee morale

 

Organizational Relationships:

  • The Plant Manager will directly report to the Vice President of Operations. There will be daily interaction with Engineering, Purchasing, Quality, Finance, and Warehousing departments.

 

Experience and/or Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 5 plus years’ experience in a fast-paced similar environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • An orientation towards process improvements
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and ERP systems, IQMS a plus
  • Understanding of ISO and GMP regulations/requirements a plus

 

Training:

  • All training courses as identified on the Training Matrix must be completed 90 days after hire.
  • Any other training identified by the Supervisor

 

Compensation:

  • Salary Range – $120,000 – $150,000
