David Williams
CEO
Dave holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. After serving 5 years as a Naval Officer and 5 years as an industrial sales engineer, Dave transitioned into progressively larger leadership roles in Saint-Gobain and Lydall. Dave has over 25 years’ experience running global manufacturing businesses and is currently President and CEO of Protective Industries which includes Medbio and Caplugs.
Hugh Davies
President
Hugh has been a leader in the medical device industry for over 25 years. He earned his B.Sc. in Engineering Metallurgy, and his Ph.D. in Bioengineering. Prior to joining Medbio, Hugh has held numerous leadership roles at Caplugs, Greatbatch, and AccuMed, just to name a few. He holds several US patents.

Chuck joined the Medbio team in 2019 with over 30 years of prior leadership experience across a variety of industries, Chuck made a name for himself as a strategic, motivational, and problem-solving leader. His first role as president leading a Michigan-based joint venture company resulted in being included in the “Future 50 of Detroit” twice in 6 years. Later, Chuck was named president of a contract manufacturer in Ohio which he twice led to receiving the “Top 99 Places for Top Talent” award. Chuck holds an MBA in Organizational Behavior and Operations Management from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Materials and Logistics Management / Supply Chain from Michigan State University
John Woodhouse
Director of Sales & Sales Engineering
A leader in sales and marketing for over 25 years, John joined Medbio in 2008. Throughout his career, John has made a name for himself as a strategic thinker and motivational leader. His sales and customer service focus was developed working in a family-owned business, as well as selling specialty engineered components in the automotive industry. His leadership and motivational skills were fine tuned leading outdoor expeditions for Wilderness Ventures in the western states and Alaska. John holds a BA in Communications from Aquinas College. He is an active member of his professional community through memberships and leadership roles.
