David Williams

CEO

Dave holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. After serving 5 years as a Naval Officer and 5 years as an industrial sales engineer, Dave transitioned into progressively larger leadership roles in Saint-Gobain and Lydall. Dave has over 25 years’ experience running global manufacturing businesses and is currently President and CEO of Protective Industries which includes Medbio and Caplugs.

Hugh Davies

President

Hugh has been a leader in the medical device industry for over 25 years. He earned his B.Sc. in Engineering Metallurgy, and his Ph.D. in Bioengineering. Prior to joining Medbio, Hugh has held numerous leadership roles at Caplugs, Greatbatch, and AccuMed, just to name a few. He holds several US patents.

Sean Callaghan

vICE PRESIDENT, BUILDING FOR GROWTH INTEGRATION

Sean holds a Plastics Technology Degree from Ferris State University, a B.S. in Operations Management, and an MBA from Central Michigan University. Sean joined Medbio in 2005 after 9 years as manager of the DLP/Medtronic Grand Rapids molding and distribution facility, and overseeing Lacks Industries’ wheel manufacturing operations.

VimAL VENugopalan

Vice President of Sales

Strategic business leader with P&L responsibility and proven experience leading high performing sales & technical teams, managing key accounts, and developing distribution channels within the manufacturing sector. Passionate about identifying and commercializing new business opportunities by driving collaborative efforts across multi-disciplined global teams. Vimal earned his BS in Aerospace Engineering and Mechanical Engineering prior to earning his MBA from the University at Buffalo.
