Summary of Function:
The Marketing Manager position will develop and implement strategies to achieve business goals. This position will be responsible for a wide array of programs that promote the brand, capabilities, and services.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy
- Leverage medical/technical experience to work with the engineering team to develop marketing content and messaging with technical depth
- Work with the team to develop the annual marketing communications plan
- Manage the annual calendar, budget and agency
- Plan to include media, e-media, PR, direct mail, trade show support, customer communications, sales support collateral including brochures, catalogs, presentations and video
- Assist and direct SEO and keywords programs
- Oversee all incoming leads for attribution, alloc and tracking
- Manage annual marketing communication budget
- Promote the company’s services through the coordination, production, and promotion of technical marketing collateral to support the sales team, drive branding and generate leads.
- Ensure company website is current by working with the team on capability updates, content updates, company announcements, addition of new collateral, etc.
- Responsible for social media program, calendar, and content with assistance from the Marketing Communications team.
- Assist with trade show preparation ensuring appropriate products, collateral, giveaways, etc., are used. The Marketing Manager should expect to attend/run the booth for 3 to 4 trade shows per calendar year.
- Owner of corporate trademarks and patents
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Organizational Relationships:
Reports to the VP of Global Marketing.
Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
- 3+ years in the medical field
- 5+ years B2B marketing or corporate communications experience
- Technical acumen preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and formal presentation communication skills.
- Able to understand manage department budget and have independent decision-making capability.
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Proficient in MS Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint on windows-based systems. Photoshop experience a plus
- CRM Experience a plus
- Must be able to travel 20%-30% of the time.
- The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $115,000.
